No Surprise

No surprise

The No Surprises Act protects uninsured and out-of-network clients from receiving surprise medical bills from out-of-network providers. If you do not have insurance or if you are choosing not to use your insurance, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care services will cost.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate for your own records.
